UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Clearpath Birch Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Las Vegas. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
