UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Keystone Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
