UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Nova Glen Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Raleigh with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
