UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Highbridge Wilder Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Phoenix, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
