UX Designer - research and testing (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Thistle Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
