UX Designer - research and testing (Providence, RI)

Lumen Lantern Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Providence. What you will do • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
