UX Designer - research and testing (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Junction Community Partners runs community programmes across Providence, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 385 people based in Providence. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in benefits enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
