UX Designer - research and testing (Portland, OR)

Lumen Iron Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 782 people based in Portland. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
