UX Designer - research and testing (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Redstone Willow Medical Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
