UX Designer - research and testing (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Willow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
