UX Designer - research and testing (Pittsburgh, PA)

Stonegate Junction Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
