UX Designer - research and testing (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Vale Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 709 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around paper stock that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
