UX Designer - research and testing (Phoenix, AZ)

Rivermark Cobalt Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
