UX Designer - research and testing (Orlando, FL)

Nova Wilder Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
