UX Designer - research and testing (Orlando, FL)

Summit Amber Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
