UX Designer - research and testing (Oklahoma City, OK)

Westbrook Fern Transit Planning · Oklahoma City, OK · contract

Westbrook Fern Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
