UX Designer - research and testing (Oklahoma City, OK)

Redstone Kestrel Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Oklahoma City area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
