UX Designer - research and testing (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Drift Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
