UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Arts Center Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
