UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Amber Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around New Orleans. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 741 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in quality documentation. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
