UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove Meridian Health is a healthcare provider in New Orleans with clinics and support teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
