UX Designer - research and testing (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Lantern Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
