UX Designer - research and testing (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Rook Community Partners runs community programmes across Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
