UX Designer - research and testing (Nashville, TN)

Bright Maple Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
