UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Nest Markets Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
