UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Linden Banking Services Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
