UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 346 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
