UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood Willow Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Minneapolis, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
