UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Silverline Willow Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
