UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

Greenridge Maple Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Minneapolis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
