UX Designer - research and testing (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Lakeside Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
