UX Designer - research and testing (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Pine Community Partners Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 259 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
