UX Designer - research and testing (Miami, FL)

Highbridge Vale Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Miami area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
