UX Designer - research and testing (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Bright Press Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
