UX Designer - research and testing (Madison, WI)

Bright Wilder Insurance Group is an insurance company in Madison with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
