UX Designer - research and testing (Louisville, KY)

Highbridge Vale Press Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in customer orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
