UX Designer - research and testing (Louisville, KY)

Highbridge Pike Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Louisville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
