UX Designer - research and testing (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Sable Financial serves customers across Knoxville with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
