UX Designer - research and testing (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood North Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Kansas City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
