UX Designer - research and testing (Jacksonville, FL)

Foxglove Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Jacksonville, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
