UX Designer - research and testing (Jacksonville, FL)

Ironwood Yarrow Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Jacksonville serving households and small businesses, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
