UX Designer - research and testing (Jacksonville, FL)

Rivermark Rook Markets serves neighbourhoods around Jacksonville with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
