UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Haven Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Jackson. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
