UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

Summit Iron Pharma Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in release testing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
