UX Designer - research and testing (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Early Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
