UX Designer - research and testing (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Quill Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 727 people based in Houston. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
