UX Designer - research and testing (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Willow Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Houston. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
