UX Designer - research and testing (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Haven Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
