UX Designer - research and testing (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Nova Quill Health Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
