UX Designer - research and testing (Honolulu, HI)

Stonegate Bridge Transit Planning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
